The southern end of the American Continent! 1.000 kms (600 miles) from Antarctica. Ushuaia, nearly 4 hours by plane, south of Buenos Aires, the southernmost town in the World, on the banks of this famous channel, the Beagle, visited by Darwin on his voyage around the World.

Also very near Cape Horn, feared even by the toughest mariners aboard the old four-masted sailing boats. Here is where the Andes cordillera finally comes to an end, on this continent. Snow-capped mountains, forests, streams and peat bogs, this is the Uttermost part of the Earth!
